Hello and welcome to my website
Let me tell you a little bit about why I have started this website and what are the reasons behind the type of products I am offering.
When my daughter was born, I became more tuned to what I wanted to use for her daily cleaning routine, what clothes to put on her and what food to feed her.
Starting to research brought up many questions in my mind as to what certain ingredients would do to the all so fragile skin and to that tiny body of my beautiful little baby. Learning that baby's skin is 5 times thinner than adult skin just up to the age of two made me look particularly at the ingredients of creams, lotions, wash gels etc, but also at the type of clothes and how I was going to wash them.
Once into the subject – I got more and more confused as to what I could safely use.
What was the difference between organic and natural?
One thing was for sure – I wanted to go down the organic route. But even that decision was not as clear cut as it may seem. With so many different labels that exist especially in the cosmetic area – which way to turn? What do the various labels mean? Ecocert, BDHI, Cosmobio, Soil Association, Nature&Progres, and the new one NaTrue, to name just a few.
Different companies' advertisements suggest many things and surely according to them all is well and necessary – just until you read their product's composition…
I tried many things, bought different types of creams in order to find “the right” way.
And finally, with the help of a German organisation ÖKO-TEST, an organisation which tests meticulously all there is for baby, I decided to go near to completely organic.
Once that decision was made, I only had to find the products. And my usual shopping included trips to various organic shops as well as ordering from various online organic internet sites.
Never could I get all I wanted and needed from one shop alone.
That's when I had the idea of starting my own website. All the research I have done so far could be of use to other mothers, as I am sure many of us are in the same boat.
So – to cut a long story short: on my website you will find items that are mostly close to 100% organic, with no dubious ingredients. I also will add explanations of various items, such as the different labels, show you links to sites where to find info on ingredients basically everything to make the right decision for yourself and your baby. Because this is what it all boils down to – making your own decision, finding the right path for you and your baby.
